A Christmas Delight
Full of love and hope and Christmas magic, this book is a perfect read for the holidays. Everything that makes Christmas merry can be found between the pages of this book. It’s a delight from beginning to end. Sal Lizard is truly a Christmas miracle and his book is filled with one wonderful tale after another. Don’t let this one pass you by. Grab a copy and let the stories wrap you up in Christmas spirit. You won’t regret it.
Magical!
This is a very special book, just like the man on the cover! I wish it had more chapters! There were some tears mixed with smiles as I read this, it is a touching book by a man who takes his vocation seriously. I bought a few for gift-giving, too! Highly recommend this book for all who love the magic of the Christmas season!
A truly wonderful book

The Very Best Santa Book!
I am a new Santa and am soaking up everything I can to be the best Santa I can be. I have gone to two Santa schools and have read more than 15 books to learn all I can. I found Sal’s book to be the very best of all of the books I have read. He tells you his story while giving you ideas of how to be a good Santa. I read this book in two days and even read it for a second time a few weeks later. If you want a good inside look of how to be a good Santa and the many ways to make money doing it, this is the book for you!

The Spirit of Santa Is for All of Us!
I heard Sal Lizard on Coast to Coast AM. He was a very interesting guest and that’s why I bought the book. I was not disappointed. The book is a thoroughly enjoyable read. In writing about how he evolved into portraying Santa, he imparts that we can all live the spirit of Christmas – giving and love – all year.
I Would Give It 100 Stars If I Could!!!
I just finished reading this book, and I can’t believe how moving it is. It made me laugh, cry, laugh again and cry more but in a good way. This is a book about a wonderful man making sure that children and adults keep their Christmas spirit! All the wonderful things that he has done over the years, making people happy and helping children smile when their worlds are not very smile worthy. I have never lost my belief in Santa Claus, but this book has made that belief stronger in my heart. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves, likes, or is even in awe of Christmas and Santa Claus. Santa Sal is an example to us all: be kind to each other everyday, love your neighbor and love your friends. Thank you again, Sal, for giving us this awesome book!!
A Heartwarming Gem of a Book!
From the minute I picked up this book, I couldn’t put it down. It touched my spirit. Each short vignette leads straight to the next. Some had me laughing, some had me in tears. I was there with Santa Claus feeling everything he felt. If anyone wants to get a sense of someone who truly represents a real person embodying the spirit of Christmas-then this is the book for you. I will be buying this book for everyone on my Christmas list because there is no one who will not want to read it from cover to cover. It is a special book!

Wonderful Book
How fun it would be to be a child again & believe in the old man in the red suit!!! This book brought tears to my eyes & laughter to my heart. I truly believe in the magic of Christmas. I am thinkful to Mr. Lizard for keeping the tradition of the real St. Nicholas alive in everyone’s heart.
It’s a cup of Hot Cocoa
This is a very warm and loving book about a man who loves being Santa Claus. The stories will make you laugh and cry, but most of all it will remind us of the spirit of the Christmas Season. It is an easy read and worth every penny…I will read it again and a again.

The Feel Good Book of the Year! (GMTA Review)
Reading Sal’s many stories of his beginnings and exploits as Santa is one of the best books to put you in the Christmas spirit that has ever been written. Sal Lizard literally lives every day of the year as Santa. For those of us that get the warm, fuzzy feeling at that special time of year and think to ourselves how much we wish it could go on forever…well, that is exactly what this amazing man has achieved.
I wholeheartedly commend him on what he does for so many both young and old, and I hope he receives the good fortune of the immortality that goes with it.
Keep doing what you do, Sal, and keep the true spirit of Christmas alive forever.
A breath of fresh air on a dying ember
What a wonderful book. I cried, I laughed and I remembered times in my Santa adventure. 2020 sucked the life out of me and I so needed something to keep the “coal” burning in my desire to share the true Spirit of Christmas. What a beautiful read. I loved the “Spinach Cookie Story”! If you have ever wondered what it was like to be a Santa, this is a must read for anyone thinking about donning “The Red.”
Such a wonderful and moving book
Not everyone can be a Santa, but Sal Lizard takes it very much to heart. As long as there is a Sal Lizard playing and being the role of Santa, I will always believe there is a Santa for everyone.

While Christmas is one of my favorite holidays during the year, I’ve been feeling more “humbug” than “hospitable.” Needless to say, I needed to find something to help me feel the joyous spirit of Christmas again.
“Being Santa Claus” did just that. Hearing the heart-warming and sometimes heart-breaking tales from “Santa’s” perspective helped me to gain the happiness that is normally present during this time of year. Sal’s tales of helping out a radio station early in his career and how he adjusted his lifestyle as a result of asking WWSD (What Would Santa Do?) had me thinking about the own changes I’ve made in my life. I cried at the hospital as Santa visited the young patients, and I giggled when he would wink and give kids candy canes throughout the year to continue the mystery.
If you want your heart to be warmed, you’ll definitely want to pick up this book–even if it isn’t Christmastime!
